Why, when we get a new product do we sit and read the Manufacturers data? It could be pretty vague in its claims, but when your customers do this for you, well that's different.
A UK customer has been measuring water flow from his Solar Dome Pool Heater, this is incredible research for the benefit of others.

Restricted flow, same water temp 24 dg C, water exiting solar domes 29 dg C

Restricted flow further, pressure gauge on the Filter went into the Red! Water temperature leaving the Solar Domes was up to 44 dg C. But how long before the pump/motor burns out? Not wise!

Searching for the optimum solution, with some resistance and the gauge on the filter still in the green section, the water exits the Solar Domes at 38 dg C
This is work that perhaps the manufacturers should have done in advance, but the pool temperature will soon be up to its desired 27 - 28 dg C. The true difference will be when the Sun starts shining all day every day!
